I quit

True story. I started smoking when I was much younger. Because once believed that it was cool, without much thought as to the physical effects this would have on my health. Fast forward to today, where I have quit. Possibly because as you get older you hopefully learn from your adolescent mistakes and correct the errors you may have made in youth.

It's crazy how many people actually smoke. And really don't seem to care about the damage they are inflicting on themselves and others around them. I am not self-righteous in this matter. Nor am I a hypocrite. I only care. If I could help even one person avoid the heavy realization that may one day come through a phone call from a doctor, casually informing them of the often irreparable damage they have caused.. it would be worth the risk of you thinking I may be a hypocrite.

I am forever and perpetually a non-smoker. And living a better life for it. The web is a valuable source for information regarding how to quit. I think the best way is to decide and take action. I'm not sure why they call it cold turkey... but cold turkey sounds delicious. Especially when I'm still alive to try it.
