Bluetooth Technology
As many of you may already know, there is a technology that while going unnamed by some, provides a means to transfer data between devices (i.e. computer and cellphones, et cetera) called Bluetooth. While this works much the same way a cellphone communicates with a cell tower, it can have significantly less radiation output than the average cellphone, making it safer to use in close proximity to your body.
A site called BlueTomorrow.com has a large number of resources for learning about the technology and exploring its product implications.
I personally enjoy the ability to have a wireless mouse and keyboard, wireless headphones, and the ability to sync my calendars and contacts from my phone to my computer just buy walking in the same room as my computer.
As this is an emerging technology I am excited to discover where it may take us.
