Touch Panel Computer Applications
By now if you have paid any attention to the continual evolution of personal and business computing, with the exception of faster and faster machines that software developers have yet to harness; there hasn't been much progress. That is until now. Introducing the prospect of multi-touch computing.
While touch screen computer have been featured in films like Star Trek, Minority Report, The Island, and more.. the world has yet to be able to put their own hands on computers. Hands on computing is a much anticipated development that gives us hope of breaking from the mundane of mouse point and click and keyboard driven input devices. While this development would still require our hands, we could be using them in very different ways.
Below is a Photoshop syle application revolutionized by the multi-touch display it was developed for. While this is just one interpretation of how it could be done, it gives way to new ideas of how things could change in the near future. Enjoy.
